Moonbeams

Dedicated to my sister Linda, who loves all creatures, large and small.

From brambles and thickets

humble faces emerge

in witness of moonbeams

this deep forest night.

In silence they gather

creatures large and small

a summit of peace

in the full moon’s glow.
